The Radio Days :”theater of the mind” Museum welcomes visitors three days a week: Thursday (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.), Friday (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.), and Saturday (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.)— and at other times by appointment. The Museum in Sutherlin, Oregon, is an old store front built in1916 Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
The Museum in Sutherlin, Oregon also contains over 10 displays of radio memorabilia and collectible from an era known as old-Time Radio and a small collection of radio receivers used by the radio listener over the years. Here, we provide a brief overview of what you will see. We are wheelchair accessible and gladly offer guided tours through out the museum.
In addition to the Museum in Sutherlin, we provide exhibits at the Hult Center Performing arts for Fred Craft’s Radio Redux in Eugene, Oregon and Tesla City Stories performing at the Old Church Concert Hall in Portland, Oregon, We also visit Assisted Living Facilities, Senior Center and Retirement Home.
